This blog is run and managed by Rajendra Dixit. I have completed bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Mumbai University in 1985 with first class distinction and standing 7th in University merit list. Subsequently, I have worked in various industries and many reputed organizations such as Philips, TIFR, Datamatics, Syntel, Covansys (earlier CBSI) and TechMahindra. After working in IT industry for 20 years, I decided that it was time for me to work in field of Finance – the field that has fascinated me since very long time. Since April 2009, I have used my knowledge in IT to develop some software tools to analyze mutual fund NAV data that is published every day and is in public domain, to optimize returns specifically from Debt mutual funds. I give utmost importance to safety of principal as well as liquidity of invested money while generating above average returns. The choice I made of quitting IT field, has allowed me to spend quality time with my family.
