When we went to Khadakvasla there was bumper to bumper traffic and maddening crowds. When I told this story to Makarand, he suggested a good spot Baneshwar near Narsapur. So our family went with Makarand&#8217;s family on July 29, 2007. Although last couple of kms to Baneshwar were horrible &#8211; dirt road &#8211; fit for monsoon car rallies etc., we really enjoyed this outing. There is an old Shiva Temple and a great waterfall that is easy to reach from temple. If it would not have been for a drizzle that started, we would have enjoyed spending more time at the waterfall. This time it was just our family with Aai. Although the beauty of Baneshwar is truly visible during monsoon season, it is even a great picnic spot in November as well.
